Radiate started his career as dj Reiner, and already played at big party’s like Megarave, Hardcore 4 Life, Project Hardcore, Decibel, Nature One, Masters of Hardcore and many, many more.
When Radiate takes his place behind the turntables, expect nothing less then quality Mainstream Hardcore sounds that will guarantee to blow your mind! His dj-skills are already claimed legendary; Radiate gives the people what they want: loud noises, fat beats and total chaos!
As one of the new producers of the respected Offensive label, Radiate already produced hits like ‚First things first‘ and ‚Confessions of a Demon‘. But the best known song is his corporation with Paul Elstak and Beatstream; ‚Angels deserve to die!‘ This floorfiller was listed in the top 10 of the Hardcore Top 100 of 2009 and is still being played by many dj’s in- and outside Europe. Beware of Radiates future productions, this man has just started!
Besides Mainstream Hardcore, this dj also loves the old sounds. As Reiner he will take you back in time by playing the songs of the good old days. From Oldschool to Early Hardcore, Reiner knows his classics damn well.
Whether it’s Reiner of Radiate, your party will be great!
1: What is your greatest achievement as a deejay?
I think my biggest achievement has still to come, but some of the most memorable moments as a dj must be playing at party’s like Decibel, Hardcore 4 Life, Megarave, Project Hardcore and Masters of Hardcore. Also releases like Angels deserve to die and Mainstream Killah are both great achievements for me as a producer, but there are still more banging tracks coming your way!
2: How did you come up with your deejayname?
Radiate is actually a new alias for me as dj/producer. When Paul Elstak asked me to join the Offensive Records crew I had to come up with a new name. I wanted to think of a name which wasn’t too long and easy to remember for the people listening to my sets and tracks. After a lot of thinking and searching the internet I found Radiate as the perfect name for me as a dj/producer.
3: Do you have a special message to all people who read this?
People have to stop bitching about who’s hardcore and who’s not! We’re all hardcore in our own way and we have to respect each other in this. The hardcore scene has always been well known for it’s open minded view of life and I believe that’s the way it should be. Hardcore till we die!
4: What is your favourite headphone brand?
At this moment I use the Stanton Pro DJ 3000, a very affordable headphone which produces a good sound. But when this one brakes down I will definitely buy the Pioneer HDJ 2000, just because it looks great.
5: What do you like to drink during and after your deejayset?
While mixing it’s better to just leave me alone, but when you really have to ask something bring me a Whiskey-Cola or Bacardi-Cola and it’s all fine by me. But actually it’s not that hard to buy me the right drink as long as it isn’t beer. As long as it has alcohol in it it’s fine by me.
